Resume

"Music doesn't lie. If there is something to be changed in this world, then it can only happen through music."

-Jimi Hendrix

Patrick has been involved in music his entire life, learning how to drum at age 2, playing the bass at age 8 and the guitar at age 12. He bounced from cover band to cover band, falling in love with bands like Led Zeppelin, Bon Jovi, Green Day, and Weezer. This brought him to middle school, where he branched out and joined the jazz band, wind ensemble, musical theater club, and eventually marching band. His accomplishments in middle school spanned from starring in the musicals several times to transcribing and arranging "Jig 2" for the Tohickon Middle School drumline.

Once he reached high school, Patrick's musical involvement really took off. Patrick joined the marching band as a freshman while in his last year at Tohickon middle school, playing bass 1 for his first year, then moving up to snare 3. By his junior year, Patrick became the drum major of the CB West marching bucks, a position he was very proud to hold. In his senior year, the marching bucks made the news when Patrick revived his arrangement of "Jig 2" and had the band flip him upside-down to excite the student section at football games.

Throughout his high school career, Patrick made an impact on the CB West choir as well. In his time with the choir, he's had several pieces premiered in the White House and the White House Ellipse, and with the choir he performed at Carnegie Hall, The U.S. Capitol, The Philadelphia Thanksgiving Parade, The Cathedral of St. John the Divine, Princeton Cathedral, Bryn Athyn Cathedral, and many others. In his senior year, he traveled with the Women's choir to take place in the ACDA convention held in Rochester, New York. Their program "We Are the Storm" was a very important one, shedding light on heavy topics such as displacement of indigenous peoples, racism and discrimination based on gender and sexuality. He was also given the opportunity to learn from and conduct the Westminster Choir College's top choir while in his Junior year with the choir.

Despite being so involved in band and choir, Patrick also found time to be a part of CB West's Harlequin Club. He had a leading role both in his sophomore year as Fredrich in "The Sound of Music" as well as his senior year as Marius in "Les Miserables", while also acting as student music director.

Now, Patrick is currently enrolled as an upcoming Junior at Berklee college of music. Throughout his first two years at Berklee, he has found his major in film scoring and has scored several student films (see film scoring tab). He has worked with many different groups of students to create films and video games, having participated in his first "game jam" through Berklee in his Sophomore year. Recently, Patrick has taken up a contemporary conducting minor, furthering his love of conducting from his marching band and choir experience in high school. He has also recently joined Berklee's Crepusculum Chamber Choir, a group he's very happy to sing with. Outside of school, Patrick is a part of the Doylestown based band, "The Jambourines" and is hoping to play in the area for the remainder of the summer.
